The Vision: To help build the first hunger-free generation
of children in America

In the year to come, nearly seventeen million children in America will go to bed each night facing hunger and food insecurity, not knowing if the new day will bring hope or hopelessness. Nearly 250,000 of those children live here in South Florida. This is a travesty.

Established in 2004, End Childhood Hunger advocates for greater access to existing federal programs such as school breakfast, school lunch, after-school snacks, after-school dinners, summer meals, and nutrition education. We educate, promote awareness,  raise funds locally for direct mini-grants,  produce programming, and support and recruit volunteers for emerging, niche, and grassroots hunger organizations that are having a direct impact on the issue of childhood hunger.
